Burglars broke into a motorcycle dealership, stealing a bike and leaving the shop window battered on the pavement.
Wandsworth police said the David Robinson Motorcycles Ducati dealership, in Old York Road, was broken into overnight.
A red Ducati H8 bike, worth some £11,000 was stolen, they added.
A spokesman said officers were called just after half-past midnight and found the shopfront smashed, having arrived three minutes after the call.
He said: "It is believed that three individuals wearing dark clothing were involved. No arrests have been made.
"The investigation is ongoing and police are looking to recover a red Ducati H8 motorcycle, registration YD64OUM."
