Two historic cast iron crests that once formed part of the Battersea Gasholders have been donated to the Battersea Society.
The gift from the National Grid was handed over at a ceremony in Battersea Park on Thursday, April 16, with one crest bearing the name R Morton, who build the original holders.
The crests will ensure the history of the site is preserved as part of the Battersea Society's collection of items of the industrial era in Battersea.
